New year, new fashion exhibition. And what could be chicer than an exhibition in the grand estate of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire? The Chatsworth House, located in Derbyshire, England, will be host to a fashion exhibition entitled “House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion,” in partnership with Gucci. Gucci recently welcomed a collaboration with the Chatsworth House that would span 3 years and support the estate’s arts program. Curated by Vogue international editor-at-large, Hamish Bowles, the exhibition will specifically cover outfits worn by notables from the house of Devonshire who lived at Chatsworth, such as Chanel muse Stella Tennant. Visitors can expect to see couture gowns from Gucci, Dior, Givenchy and Maison Margiela on display, alongside pieces from Erdem, Alexander McQueen and Vetements.
“House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion” is showing at the Chatsworth House from March 25 – October 22.
