On our recent trip to London, we discovered the Duck Confit Burger from The Frenchie. We have had our fair share of duck while living in Britain, so this burger was a welcomed addition to our #foodie resume. The food stall, which can be found at 5 different food markets across London, prepares everything onsite under a French(ie) yellow canopy. The duck confit is classically prepared with the duck leg cured and later cooked in its own fat. The Frenchie has made this dish street-food-friendly by serving it atop a brioche bun with pieces of perfectly crisp duck-skin scratchings. It is further dressed with rocket, mustard and a red-onion chutney with your choice of cheese. We recommend the bleu cheese + truffle honey or the smoother raclette. The burger’s perfect pairing: a side of twice-fried duck fat chips w/ truffle dip.
