When I have described my style and go-to looks in the past, I always listed a pantsuit as an essential part of my wardrobe. Not only do I feel very chic and put together in a pantsuit, but I feel like a boss in my own right!
A few fashion months ago I wore a traditional check pantsuit with a tailored and cropped leg. This time, I opted for a Delpozo floral pantsuit, a more elevated, couture option for a rainy day in September. The structured jacket cinched at the waist and then flowed out to give me a proper hourglass shape while the pants were a wide-legged, cuffed palazzo pant. The fabric was a thick, luxe, mix of wool and silk, with red metallic thread offering a pop against the fuchsia and magenta base. Crawling along my left shoulder were delicate 3D flower appliqués in deep violet and icy gray. I decided to cinch my waistline further by adding a red pashmina scarf to serve as a belt. Satin magenta heels and a lightweight scarf to compliment the luxury of the thicker pantsuit fabric were the finishing accessories.
