In February 2018, during London Fashion Week, I watched the Richard Quinn runway show with iconic front row guests Queen Elizabeth and Anna Wintour. It was after this show that Quinn received the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design from Her Majesty, of course! This runway show included a mix of vibrant, bold prints fashioned into headscarves and long sleeved tops with built-in gloves. It was a major modest fashion moment! One of the pieces I had lusted over was the blue and green coat dress. Little did I know I would actually have the honor of wearing it this NYFW!   The larger-than-life coat had deep luxurious pockets (no purse needed!), a neck scarf, and dramatic wide cuffs. In styling, I opted for tailored, white pieces to finish the look and give myself more shape as the coat puffed out at the back. The back is like a cape with dramatic draping and is stuffed with tulle inside. What is not shown here: the black and white polka dot print that lined the interior of the coat. Luxury from the inside out!

Stay tuned to see more looks from NYFW! Also check out days 1 and 2 !
